Pont du Gard

Pont du Gard

Description of the location

The Pont du Gard is one of the best preserved Roman aqueducts, and was added to Unesco’s list of World Heritage Sites in 1985. Built on three levels, it towers 49 m (161 ft) above the river and is 274 m (899 ft) long, offering striking proportions for any film shoot.

Producers visit, day 2

At the Pont du Gard, the producers were warmly welcomed by the site’s organisers and were invited to lunch at Les Terrasses restaurant, a stunning point of view from which to see the whole aqueduct.
